Beecher City High School, located in Effingham County just West of Effingham, is seeking a Jr./Sr. High School Agriculture Education Instructor and FFA Advisor starting August 2018, following the retirement of Mr. Kevin Perkins.

This is a full time position teaching Horticulture Production, Ag Construction/Landscaping, Ag Mechanics, Jr. High Shop, Intro to Ag, Ag Business/Ag Power, and Ag Science.   Beecher City Jr./Sr. High School operates on a 8 period day with an Advisory hour.  Our FFA program currently has 58 members out of a total of 80 students. 

Starting salary will be based on the CBA with the Beecher City Teachers Union.  We currently offer group health insurance with $450 per month paid by the Board of Education.   There is also the option of participating in vision and dental insurance programs.  The Beecher City Board will reimburse college tuition for pre-approved classes at a rate of $100 per hour or a max of $2000 per year. 

Candidates must possess Illinois Teaching License in Agriculture.
