The University of Illinois AGED Program Spring 2018 Newsletter is available online at: The newsletter contains information about scholarship recipients and various student activities completed during the semester.


AGED 499 CDE Seminar Graduate Course: June 5-6, 2018
A one credit hour graduate course will be offered to teachers on June 5-6, 2018. Space is limited the first two teachers who register. Topics include: Meats Evaluation & Technology*, Poultry Evaluation, and Land Use (soils) Evaluation. 

*The Meats Evaluation & Technology workshop will be a seperate, unique workshop from the pre-IAVAT Conference workshop on June 18.


Reminders for State FFA Awards Day -- Saturday 

  • The welcome for the event begins at 10 am in the Lincoln Hall auditorium.
  • Food will be provided to all judges and students, courtesy of the University of Illinois Agricultural Education Program.
  • Please bring quarters if you plan to park at one of the meters.
  • The weather forecast for Saturday includes rain and/or snow. Please bring an umbrella.
  • All documents related to State FFA Awards Day, including maps of the buildings used for the event and parking, are provided on the Illinois FFA website.
