Deadline reminder and Ag Mechanics Registration

Friday, April 07, 2017

Sent to All Contacts

1. Super Friday Information

Just a reminder: Pre-registration for Super Friday is due TODAY. Pre-registration is required for Reasons Livestock and Horticulture teams (optional for Non-reasons Livestock and Poultry teams). Click here to view the original listserv with the registration link and further details for the contest. If you wonder whether or not your team is registered (or if you registered the correct number), click here to view the current pre-registration spreadsheet.

Also,  IAVAT is searching for members that would be willing and able to use their school's full size buses to shuttle participants and drivers as an assignment for the day. If you would be willing to provide this service, IAVAT would provide free registration for one of your teams at the contests that day. Interested members must send a statement of approval from administration (signed letter or email directly from them) along with a certificate of insurance. Shuttle drivers would need to arrive on-site by 8am to register their team, and then run their bus as a shuttle from 8:30-10am. Shuttles would be needed again when the Livestock CDE concludes (~1-2pm) and Reasons participants are sent back to the Stock Pavilion and then drivers shuttled back to the parking lot to get their vehicles. This opportunity will be available to the first 4 members to confirm by email to and send the administrator approval and certificate of insurance. All confirmations must be made by April 20, 2017 to take advantage of this opportunity. Please contact our office if you have any further questions!
