1.  Need more Chapter Award Judges

We do need more National Chapter Award judges, especially Round 1.  

If you happen to be interested in volunteering to judge Round 1 or Round 2, please click here.  This is a great opportunity to learn more about the National Chapter Award application process and what quality National Chapter Award applications look like. This is a great opportunity for all teachers and friends to see what amazing things are taking place through FFA Chapters around the state.  All volunteers are welcome!  

2.  Office Closed - Tomorrow & Super Friday

The Illinois FFA Center will be closed tomorrow, April 14, 2017 for Good Friday.  It will also be closed on Friday, April 28, 2017 for Super Friday, which is the State Livestock, Horticulture and Poultry CDEs at the University of Illinois.  

3.  April 15, 2017 Deadlines

Don't forget, we still need Band, Chorus and Talent applications emailed to us by April 15, 2017.  AND the National Chapter Award application is due April 15, 2017.  

  • The only printed and signed applications that will be needed at the FFA Center will be the ones that are selected to move onto National FFA competitions.  Illinois FFA is allowed to submit 32 or 33 applications from our state for National competition.  Once those are announced in mid May those FFA chapters will then print a nice pretty, color copy and sign it and bring it to the State FFA Convention.  THERE IS NO NEED FOR PRINTED OR SIGNED COPIES IN OUR OFFICE UNTIL THAT TIME and IT IS ONLY FOR THOSE SCHOOLS BEING SUBMITTED TO NATIONAL FFA

  • All National Chapter Award applications must be emailed by midnight on April 15, 2017 to:

    Do you have talented FFA members that would be interested in performing during the state convention? If so, they may be interested in applying for the state convention band, state convention chorus, or maybe entertain us with their talent. The applications for each are attached and can also be downloaded from the Illinois FFA website.

    For all of the Band, Chorus and Talent applications, please download them first and then begin to complete the application.  

    The state convention band application is due April 15, 2017 directly to the Illinois FFA Center.    Click here for the Band application.

    The state convention talent application is due April 15, 2017 directly to Paxton Morse, Illinois FFA State Vice President  at the Illinois FFA Center.  Click here for the Talent application.
