1. District V Job Interview CDE and SIU Invitational Job Interview CDE- Registration Now Open
Date: Wednesday April 26th 2017
Pre-Registration Deadline: Wednesday, April 19, 2017
Cost: $3 per student
Location: SIU Ag Building (1205 Lincoln Drive)
 
All resumes, cover letters, and reference letters must be postmarked or emailed tohheavner7@siu.edu no later than Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Materials sent after this deadline will receive point deductions during the contest.

Only the top four participants from each section's varsity contest will be eligible to compete in the DistrictV Job Interview CDE. Section chairs should send the names of these participants tohheavner7@siu.edu to verify those that register for this event.

If your section held a JV Job Interview CDE, the top 5 participants from that contest will be eligible to compete at the SIU Invitational Job Interview CDE. If there was no JV Job Interview contest held in your section, each school is limited to two students, up to the first 25 students that register for the event. If you have questions about whether your section is sending students from your JV event or whether each school can send their own, please contact your section chair. Section chairs should also send the names of participants advancing from a JV contest to hheavner7@siu.edu to verify those that register for this event.

These contests will follow state rules with the exception of interviews being 15 minutes instead of 20 minutes.. Please see attached rules for the state contest for furtherdetails.
 
2.  District V Ag Issues CDE - Registration Now Open
Date:WednesdayApril 26, 2017
Pre-Registration Deadline: Wednesday,  April 19 , 2017
Cost: $15 per team
Location: SIU Ag Building (1205 Lincoln Drive)
 
All portfolios must be postmarked or emailed to hheavner7@siu.edu no later than Wednesday, April 19, 2017 . Materials sent after this deadline will receive point deductions during the contest.
