From Gate to Plate Workshop @ University of Illinois, May 4th


We are extremely excited for this workshop on May 4th.  We are partnering with the University of Illinois Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition to host a full-day, food science/food production workshop, “From Gate to Plate.”  Please see the attached agenda for exact details.  This workshop will benefit both Family and Consumer Sciences teachers and Agriculture teachers.  Participants will receive six professional development hours.  Do not hesitate to contact me with questions.

Parking Instructions (M2 Parking Lot at Parkland College – Directly east of the Parkhill ATC building

We will meet at Parkland College (M2 parking lot) at 7:45 a.m., and then travel as a group by bus to the University of Illinois campus.  Parking limitations on U of I’s campus make it impossible for us to bring multiple vehicles.
