Position           Ag Mechanics Instructor

Description      Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, CHSAS, is seeking an Agriculture Mechanics instructor for the 2017-18 school year. Courses to be taught include 1 section of Intro to Ag, Sophomore rotation (a 6 week rotating exploratory course covering the basics of Ag Mech), a Junior level Ag Mech 1 (80 minute period), and a Senior level Ag Mech 2 (80 minute period). Opportunities for summer contract extension are available.

Description      CORRECTIONAL HORTICULTURE INSTRUCTOR AT ILLINOIS YOUTH CENTER, ST. CHARLES ILLINOIS

Full-time. 12 month, grant funded position. Located at Illinois Youth Center at St. Charles. Responsible for teaching courses and labs in the Horticulture Certificate Program. Extensive knowledge of plant propagation, pest and disease control on turf, garden, and ornamental plants required. HS diploma/GED required. Associate degree preferred. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
