1.) 2018 Alumni FFA Leadership Camp Scholarship Application The Illinois FFA Alumni has changed the process for completing the alumni camp scholarship application, we are no longer requiring the five signatures and mailing or emailing the application to the FFA Center.  The scholarship application will need to be completed online by March 1, 2018.  Both the student and FFA Advisor will receive a copy of the completed scholarship application for their records.

The FFA Advisor will receive an email to submit a "Letter of Recommendation" about their student applying for the camp scholarship.  This can just be a paragraph, and it will need to be emailed to by March 1, 2018.  

We have created a document with the scholarship application questions and rubric that you may review before starting the scholarship application.

2.)  Alumni Chapter Basket Winners from the Alumni Auction

We had 22 Chapter FFA Baskets & 1 Corporate Chapter Basket from Caterpillar entered the contest.  The baskets were judged, and the Best Basket Award went to Hamilton County FFA.  The Chapter Basket Auction raised $4,460, and the Highest Bid Basket Award went to Eldorado FFA.  Since the Chapter Baskets brought so much at auction we are able to give everyone that brought a Chapter Basket an FFA Leadership Camp Scholarship.

3.) 2018 Illinois FFA Alumni Gator Raffle 

Tickets are on sale for a John Deere XUV 560E (MY18) Gator.  Would you like to sell and/or purchase tickets?  Would you like to have the Gator at your event?  Please contact Patti Davis at or by calling (217) 753-3328 Ext. 107 for more information. 

The prices for the Gator tickets are as follows:

  • 1 for $10
  • 3 for $25
  • 20 for $100

The winning ticket will be drawn at the Illinois State FFA Convention on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 1:30 p.m.  The winner will be responsible for all taxes.  The FFA Chapter or Alumni that sells the winning ticket will receive $300.  The Illinois FFA Alumni will continue to give a percentage of the number of tickets sold by the FFA Chapter and/or Alumni.
