National Chapter Award Application Process

  • You MUST complete Form 1 before you have access to Form 2.
  • The only printed and signed applications that will be needed at the FFA Center will be the ones that are selected to move onto National FFA competitions.  Illinois FFA is allowed to submit 32 or 33 applications from our state for National competitiion.  Once those are announced in mid May those FFA chapters will then print a nice pretty, color copy and sign it and bring it to the State FFA Convention.  THERE IS NO NEED FOR PRINTED OR SIGNED COPIES IN OUR OFFICE UNTIL THAT TIME and IT IS ONLY FOR THOSE SCHOOLS BEING SUBMITTED TO NATIONAL FFA.
  • ALL, meaning ANYONE wanting or planning to submit a National Chapter Award application MUST, meaning YOU HAVE TO, click on the form and tell the Illinois FFA Center how you want your application to be judged.  THANK YOU!  See message from last posting:   ALL FFA Chapters completing the National Chapter Award application MUST click here to verify which level of judging your application is to be judged.

If you happen to be interested in volunteering to judge Round 1 or Round 2, please:

Click here for the link for teachers to sign up to judge National Chapter Award applications.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the National Chapter Award application process and what quality National Chapter Award applications look like. This is a great opportunity for all teachers and friends to see what amazing things are taking place through FFA Chapters around the state.  All volunteers are welcome!  (Round 1 judging - you judge the entire application for about 2 to 3 sections and complete a score sheet/google form for each app.  For Form 2 you judge ALL apps in Round 2, but only one section of the app - for example Round 2, You would judge Growing Leaders Activity 1 for each app in the Round 2, which would be around 100 apps.)

All National Chapter Award applications must be emailed by midnight on April 15, 2018 to:
