Ag Education Vacancy - A-C Central High School

A-C Central High School in Ashland, IL is seeking an Agriculture Education Instructor/FFA Advisor. The position includes a 10.5 month extended contract and facilities including a classroom equipped with an LCD and Smartboard, greenhouse, agricultural mechanics shop and chapter garden on the school property.

The school also promotes a one-to-one computer program where all students have laptop computers assigned to them for the school year. You can learn more about the school at

Courses to be taught for the coming year include Middle School Agriculture (9 week program for 7th-8th grade), Introduction to Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscape/Turfgrass Management, Biological Science Applications in Agriculture, Agricultural Business, Agricultural Sales and Woodworking.

The chapter is a member of Section 14 in District III and the students are very active in career development events, community projects, and in maintaining supervised agriculture experience programs. The community and administration are supportive of this program.
