ISBE Ag Ed Consultant Update & FY20 Budget Input

Immediate Changes within Ag Education at ISBE
Brian Houser, Interim Ag Education Consultant, has taken a new position within ISBE in the regulatory support division.   We wish him well in his new role and thank him for his efforts and assistance.

Betsy Pech and Scott Fairfield, retired agriculture teachers, have been contracted to do grant work with the Ag Incentive Grant, Three Circle FFA and SAE Grant, and Periodic Grant Reporting System.   Welcome back!

ISBE is still taking applications for the permanent Ag Ed Consultant position at this link.  Start date is negotiable with a preferred date of July 1, 2019.  Office location is 100 N. First Street, Springfield, though after six months, employees are allowed one day per week working remotely.  Interested individuals are encouraged to apply for this important state staff leadership role.
