2.  Assistance to Taylorville & any Community Hit By Tornadoes this past weekend

The mayor and members of the city council indicated that what is the most useful is gift cards to Walmart, Lowe's, restaurants, etc.  We realize that some may not feel comfortable donating those things, but that is what is most useful to them at this time since families are displaced don't have a lot of room to store other items.   We will have a collection at Super Saturday State CDEs this Saturday and send the gift cards back with the Taylorville FFA Chapter.  If you would be willing to bring gift cards of this nature to the State CDE events this Saturday, December 8, 2018, our state staff and officers will organize collecting them and getting to Taylorville FFA Chapter.

If your community was hit and you want to post what assistance you may need, please don't hesitate to contact the Illinois FFA Center and we will post the needed information for assistance.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to members of the Taylorville community and the 22 other locations where tornadoes touched down this past weekend.
