On behalf of the Southern Illinois County Farm Bureaus, we want to invite you and representatives of your FFA Chapter to participate in our upcoming FFA Acquaintance Day Program themed “Believe."

This program will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.  It will be held in the SIU Student Ballrooms beginning with registration from 8:40 a.m. - 9:20 a.m.  The program is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. and will conclude at approximately 12:30 p.m..  Boxed lunches from Subway will be provided at the conclusion of the program.  Please RSVP for the correct number of meals by the registration deadline of January 24.  Registrations received after the deadline are not guaranteed lunch.

As in the past, your FFA members will attend four workshops that are designed to provide your students with agricultural information which will be useful to them as they carry out their FFA work and end with a closing speaker.  We will have some great presenters planned this year!

Registration is open to all FFA members.  To streamline the registration process, all schools participating in this event will submit a Google form just like all other events held at SIU. To register students for this event, click here.

For more information about this event, please contact your county Farm Bureau Manager directly.

Please remember the SIU Parking guidelines – we ask that you do not back into parking spaces. As you exit Highway 51 go to the Student Center. CFFA and Agbassador members will be taking groups that are dropped off at the door to registration and chapter pictures in the International Lounge (south entrance of the Student Center). If you are driving a personal vehicle, you may park in Lots 13/13A (across from Student Center), but you will have to pay the meter for the morning. If you do not wish to pay the meter, or you are driving a bus or mini-bus, please proceed to Lot 56 (south of arena), where parking will be complimentary for the conference. Another CFFA member or Agbassador will be driving an SIU van from this lot to the Student Center every 5-10 minutes from 8:30-9:30am. Shuttles will again run from 12:00-1:00pm to take drivers back to their vehicles.

We look forward to seeing you on campus January 29!
