June 12-14 - FFA Convention

2018 Illinois FFA Convention registration is ONLINE!  Please Click Here to open the registration document.  Prior to registering, please make sure you coordinate with all your parents and guests attending state convention.  Our goal is to have ONE convention registration per school.  Click Here to open the 2018 Convention registration worksheet, this document will help you plan out your convention registration before you submit your form.  Please note that parents, friends, and guests may register on site.

For those chapters that are planning on getting rooms at the President Abe Lincoln hotel for state convention.  You should be able to make your room reservations now.  There are a limited number of rooms in the Illinois Association FFA block, so be sure to reserve the rooms early. There is a large cattle show coming to Springfield that week so make sure to get your rooms EARLY.  To make your reservations in the block, you need to contact Natalie Duke-Wys.  Her direct phone number is 217-321-2440 or e-mail at

For those chapters that are planning on staying at the Wyndham (formerly Hilton) the Illinois Association FFA also has a block of rooms available there as well.  Please contact the hotel directly at 217-789-1530 or reserve rooms online at this link.

The State FFA Degree Ceremony is Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at the evening session beginning at 5:30 p.m. Stars Over Illinois will also be during the State FFA Degree session Wednesday evening. Again this year, there will NOT be a State FFA Degree Luncheon this year. We are also no longer doing the Leadership Lunch/Dinner this year.  The following are the meal functions that we will be hosting:  Tuesday, June 12th at 5:00 p.m. – American Degree Dinner – tickets MUST be purchased prior to June 1.  They will not be available on-site.  Tuesday, June 12th at 5:00 p.m. – AgriScience Fair Dinner (free ticket for participants in the AgriScience Fair, but they must be ordered).  Wednesday, June 13th at 11:00 a.m. State Awards Lunch (free ticket for state proficiency winner, their parents, and their advisor, but they must be ordered).  Meal function tickets should be purchased prior to June 1.  There may be a limited number available for purchase on-site on a first-come, first-serve basis.
